A Message from your host…..
As host of Circuit Rider Radio,
it is my goal to “plant the seed” of redemption
through our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. Circuit Rider Radio is played
all over the world, including
many gospel music stations and is one small
part of our corporation.
However, I especially delight in having the show played
on the secular stations as this
is where those who need our Savior most,
may be listening more so than
a gospel station. Just the knowledge of knowing that
the music we play may help even
one lost soul is enough to encourage me to
merely announce for the program.
SOME PEOPLE JUST TALK TOO MUCH!!!!!
My method is to let the spiritual
music do what it was written and recorded to do.
If it uplifts Christians, I
am thrilled. If the music causes someone to seek out
the Lord, I am elated.
I could sit there and “flap my gums” for an hour as
many – far too many - other
radio-hosts-turned-preacher/parson/evangelist
do for the purpose of what appears
to be ego more than love of the Lord and
concern for our fellow human
beings, but why talk when people who tune in
obviously want to hear music?
As a cancer survivor, I learned a hard life
lesson that eluded me in my
youth: the time we are allotted on this earth is
very precious. It is my
calling to spend my time here as a servant of the Lord Jesus.
I am filling big shoes as I
do my part in the Circuit Rider organization, but
had I not been here to see Circuit
Rider from its inception decades ago and
know what the organization is
really all about, I wouldn’t waste my time with it.
I am always amazed at the level
of jealousy that programs such as CRR generate
among rank and file “gospel”
aficionados who consider themselves our competition.
Maybe these people should listen
to their own music a little more because they have
missed something somewhere along
the line. We’ve seen “Christians” come and
go here at Circuit Rider.
Far too many hired on for particular jobs or semi-partnerships
who try to represent themselves
to the public as an especially “righteous” person who
then turns out to be a worst
degenerate than a non-believer have passed this way.
This is where I am very proud
to say that I am most like my dad: what you see
is what you get. I am
the same way at home in private as in person. Now I have
taken my place at my father’s
side. No longer will he have to look over
his shoulder because of employees
trying to steal him blind or will associates
of Circuit Rider represent our
company while basically being nothing more
than liars and/or sexual predators.
They will be put in the road and Circuit Rider
will press on as long as our
Lord is willing.
